Maroon velvet

A movie theater photo, taken as the big curtain rose slowly in its scalloped pattern.
The lights were about to dim and the show was about to begin.
Tonight's movie was Kingdom, starring Jamie Foxx.
What's your favorite, all time, big screen movie?
Mine was - A Star is Born, starring Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristoferson.
Second favorite, was Good Will Hunting, starring Matt Damon and Ben Afleck.

Well, let's see.

First that comes to mind, and one that I actually saw at the movie theater--"Last of the Mohicans." Who wouldn't want Daniel Day-Lewis running through pure hellish danger in search of her like he does in that movie?

And I will stop whatever I'm doing to watch "Love Actually," "Sense and Sensibility," "Enchanted April," "Notting Hill," "Three Weddings and a Funeral," "Grease," "Remains of the Day," "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Shirley Valentine," "Howard's End," and "Steel Magnolias."

OK, so now you can tell that not only can I not take just one photo or eat one potato chip, I cannot make up my mind about what's my favorite big screen movie.

Hi,

You've got a lovely blog going on but did you know you can actually shrink the size of your blog's banner so that it becomes rectangular in shape? :)

I like the photo on the theater, it looks dainty and classic.

Have you visited The Strange Republic? Do recommend it to yuor friends too!

My favorite was Gladiator! But I liked all of Lynette's list too.
I love the movies!

That is a very posh movie theatre. Wow!!

The last film I saw was with my son, we watched the latest Harry Potter offering.

I don't think I have one favourite movie. I will have to get my thinking cap on.
