Exploration Place Playground

This is Exploration Place Playground. If you enlarge this photo, you may be able to see the sculpture from yesterday's photo, and also the one posted a while back, Global caress. And, can you also see the park bench that's shaped like a crocodile?

Reading

These two young ladies, are found in the children's playground at Exploration place. The older girl is reading a book to the younger one. If you remember the photo called Global Caress, it was also located in this playground.

River City Brewing Co.

As I snapped this photo in Old Town, a bicycle rider zoomed by, so he is included. In the background is The River City Brewing Company - and Loft 150. Places to eat, drink and be merry.

Red brick road

Wichita use to have a lot of red brick roads. I don't see many anymore, but they are still to be found in the Old Town district, where they add to the quaint atmosphere of the old warehouse buildings, that line these streets. It was a good move on the part of whoever came up with the idea to bring life, and business, back to this long vacated area of the city. This photo is kind of dark, due to the shade - please enlarge it for a better view. Does your city have red brick roads? Can you imagine the time spent to place the bricks?

Hotel at Old Town

This photo shows the big open area where the Farm and Art Market takes place on Saturday mornings, in the summer. And, the building directly ahead is the old Keen Kutter building, its been renovated into an upscale hotel, which is appropriately named Hotel at Old Town

This makes my fourth post with the "After shopping" woman and child, in it. They captured me, as I captured them, in the past few photos.
