I like everything you post...but you are right, this is a nice sandy color..almost cream!
Wendy, I sat at the end of a point like this yesterday, the point where the Maumelle River and the Arkansas River come together in Little Rock. The log was in the Maumelle and therefore likely didn't come all the way from Kansas - but I imagine there's lots of stuff in the river here that was once in the river there, lots of stuff including water :)
