Leisurely reading
Thinking back to when you were around the age of this young girl, do you recall some of your favorite books? It looks like this is a book she just can't put down. I wasn't much of a reader. This statue is found to the west of Wichita's Century II Convention Center.

I remember lying upstairs in my grandparents' house, on the bed by the window, feeling the hot hot wind blowing in while I read Nancy Drew.
How sweet! I remember doing just that. I loved poetry books or just my Bible.

What a lovey statue. I remember reading Nancy Drew too, but at a little younger age, I love Heidi!!

I was and still am a voracious reader. That also happens to be one of my fav poses. If it were not for the pig tails, it could have been me!
