Interaction

By looking at this photo, it's hard to tell , why this Gorilla is so stillfully facing this building. But, what he (or she) is so attentive to is a zookeeper who is making hand signals and awarding treats. There is only a gate between them. My guess is, the zookeeper is teaching sign language to the gorilla, and adding some stimulating activity to it's day.

Ah, positive reinforcement. That's the way to get others to do what you want and they don't even know you're manipulating their behaviors. They think it's all their own ideas.

I used this method to get my husband to clean up after himself. Worked lots better than nagging, that's for sure.
