Kaleidoscope - View 1

Kaleidoscopic view taken with the lens of my camera held against the lens of the kaleidoscope, at Botanica. Had no idea if this would turn out, but was delighted to see - it did! Come back tomorrow and I'll show you what the actual kaleidoscope looks like from a distance. I think it's ingenious and appropriate for Botanica to offer this fun (and different) view of flowers. Do you see the leaves?... and petals?

Wow, through the eye of the kaleidoscope--nice turn out and very pretty patterns!

(thanks so much for your visits and your very kind words--you are most generous!)

Now this is quite interesting. :) :) Love the shapes and colors. If you are working in photoshop or have some other photo program, perhaps you could create a square crop, cropping off the black area to the left. Then your eye would go right to your lovely image and not wonder over to that side. Hope you dont mind me saying.. just my opinion of course.. :) :) :) This is an awesome idea for a nice abstract image. :) :)

What an idea - and it was a worthwhile one too. This is intriguing.
