Follow the yellow brick road...
This is really a Yellow Brick Path (not a road), in a Wichita park. I thought by following it, I would at least see a scarecrow, cowardly lion, and tin man, but all there was to see was the yellow brick path, grass, bushes and trees. I recall in the past, there was a tree stump carving of a tornado, but it's no longer there. This is in a nice park - one that has a lake, paddle boats, children's train ride, pony rides, playground equipment, picnic tables and charcoal grills. The little girl in the photo is headed for the pony ride. She wants to ride the white pony, a pony named "Bo".

What a great location for photos!
Next time you go there be sure to wear your ruby slippers.
I think I'd have to skip down that road. In my opinion, you are never too old to skip. :o)
Not even a Tin Man? Or Toto? I would have followed the road too!
Great shot. Wonderful addition in the park.
i remember going to that park when i was little and lived in Wichita. at one point where it spirals into it self there was a tin-man, cowardly lion, and scarecrow but i moved in 2004. : (
Yes, all the characters populated the yellow brick road in the order Dorothy met them. Apparently the tree carved sculptures were removed as a result of vandalism.
I'm in wichata and cannot find the name of this park.
