Pocket Park table

This shot was taken in a downtown Wichita "pocket park", and shows a round table for the downtowners to sit and rest, while viewing and enjoying the park, or their lunch - or both. Also in the background of the picture is the lunch counter statue, which I've posted about in a past entry.

A note to each of you:

I will be away from the computer this week, and have someone else posting my daily photos. If I seem a little different, or quiet - that will be why.

The see of tranquillity, obviously!! I'm sure Armstrong and Aldrin would agree.

Have a wonderful week, Wendy ....

Wherever you go, whatever you do, Wendy, I'll be thinking of you and wishing you back. But I'll also be checking in to see what your back-up poster provides us.

I agree with Annie, one hundred percent. And I want to say thanks for thinking of having someone help you so that we won't miss any of your posts.

Very nice sculpture. Looks like a quite town... away from the maddness of the big cities.
