At night

Yesterday's post of this building was taken in the fall, during daytime.
This one was taken during the Christmas season, at night.
It stands out nicely with the green lighting.

You do know what this building is famous for don't you? I'll wait to see if anyone else knows...

Nice nightime shot. I like the green ribbons of light.

Freakish and eerie, but yes, cool!

What a transformation the lights and the night make. I didn't recognize it.

It used to be a Holiday Inn.

Holiday Inn sniper remembered 30 years later http://www.ksn.com/news/local/3843626.html

"It was 30 years ago Friday that a teenager fired randomly from atop the old Holiday Inn in downtown Wichita, killing three and wounding several others. We sat down with several people who were there on that fateful day."

I was driving east on Kellogg past downtown when they broke with the news on the radio. Looking over my left shoulder wondering how far a sniper bullett could travel.

Yikes, Moonshadow, that's a dreadful history for the place to live through.
