For some reason I'm thinking of birth. Could it be that we are approaching something new? Could we in the birthing process of a New Year? Yea, oh boy, fresh and new awaits.

This reminds me of the several bridges that cross the Chicago river in my original home town. I can almost hear the cars driving through, the sounds of the river and the city and river smells mingling together.
