Carthalite bridge

This is not the best photo, but it is of a well known and well liked bridge in Wichita. It is decorated with Indians and Buffalo in colored concrete. Tomorrow, and maybe even the next day I'll post more photos of this bridge. Maybe by enlarging this photo, you can see the Buffalo. This bridge is on 13th street near North High. I believe it's scheduled for repairs and I'm hoping they manage to preserve its beauty and stature.

I certainly hope that they preserve the art on the bridge. I like the sun going down in the background.

I can't imagine Indians and buffalo crossing the bridge though.

I am surprised to see a cobbled surface! Its a unique bridge.
