Old sign
This old sign also hangs on the wall of the restaurant. While it looks like new, it's the $7 a week that tells of it's age.
I'm thinking the hotel was probably near St Francis Hospital, and rented to a lot of nurse.

The sign looks great...but you are right $7 is a give away. Not even a Motel "6" could do that!!
